Christmas is a comin’

I know you don’t want to hear it but there are just six weeks to go until Christmas. I too have been in denial but the arrival of the Rockett St George Christmas catalogue has finally stirred my festive spirit. It is a lovely collection of things we don’t need but really want and I have picked some of my favourites for you below – three of which I have already placed an order for. So that’s my Christmas shopping underway then.

Sneak peek at Farrow & Ball’s 9 new colours.

Here in the Angel + Blume office, we are very pleased about the lovely new Farrow & Ball showroom that has recently opened on Regent Street, Cambridge.

As one of our favourite paint companies we have all been greatly anticipating the exciting arrival of Farrow & Ball’s 9 new colours, and this morning we had the extreme privilege of getting a sneak preview of said selection. It came as no surprise that the new range is fantastic and we can’t help but imagine all the ways we want to use these new colours as soon as we can get our hands on them!

Although we can not reveal their true identity yet, we can tell you that they are a brilliant combination of refreshing, elegant and sumptuous! So make a note in your diaries for the 9th September, and watch this space.

New work from Angela McKay

We love the illustrations of Angela McKay (not least because she is responsible for the beautiful drawing of our office building) and she has been busy recently producing new work which can be seen on her website. I have always loved her drawings of building that capture the character of a location so well, but the new images of dogs really made me smile. Here are just a few but there are lots more on her gorgeous website.
