Angel + Blume is loving the colour blue!  Especially the rich peacock and vibrant kingfisher, denim and turquoise blues appearing in many of this autumn’s new collections.

No doubt, with a nod to the fact that 2012 has seen the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations, Designers Guild have launched a collection of fabrics called Elizabeth and amongst these fabrics are some fine examples of beautiful blues in velvet, jacquard and embroidery.

And these wonderful blue colours combined with Ikat and Aztec designs are particularly prevelant in both the Autumn fabric and home accessory collections.

  Thibaut have cleverly combined this Eastern influenced softly defined  Ikat design in navy with boldly patterned Longwood wallpaper and very simple self patterned window voiles  – to create a charmingly restful bedroom.

Lastly, some gorgeous blue patterned Blankets and Cushions from Melin Tregwynt will ward off any chill in the autumn air!
