Summer is over, there’s a hint of Autumn in the air and a definite ‘back to school’ feeling. In order to counterbalance any post holiday blues, I always view this time of year as the perfect time to make a fresh start, embrace the back to school feeling and take up a new hobby.

Evening classes always start up again after the summer break and there’s no better time than just after a holiday when you’re feeling recharged, energetic and ready to learn something new. I always start a new term by treating myself to new stationery and tidying up my desk. At the moment i’m coveting this Pigeon Hole Wall Shelf Unit by Graham and Green and this quirky Pencil Sharpener Desk Tidy, below.
This Autumn Angel + Blume are fully embracing the back to school spirit by running a brand new series of interior design evening classes which will start up on the 20th September and run every Tuesday evening for six weeks. It’s the perfect opportunity to treat yourself to a new notebook and pen and take up a new challenge!
These classes were created as a follow-on from our popular day courses and will offer practical advice for anyone interior designing their own home or offer inspiration for those with an interest in the subject. Run from our central Cambridge studio each class will last for one hour after which there will be a chance to ask individual questions.
The classes will cover Finding Your Style, Planning Layout, Colour Schemes, Lighting and Technology, Sourcing Products and Project Management, with the first class starting next Tuesday 20th September. Classes are only £25 each (or even less if you attend all six) and everyone is welcome, whether you are currently in the process of redesigning your own home or simply have an interest in design and want to find out more.
Bearing in mind how busy everyone is at the start of a new term we are running each class as a separate talk so if you are not able to attend the full course you can just book each class individually. Or if you want to attend all six we’d be delighted to see you. Places are still available, so give us a call or send us an email to book your place. We look forward to seeing you soon!
