If you want to give your spices and herbs even more individuality, empty them from the store jars and into some fun like a vintage jar; there are loads of Etsy, both in sets and single items. I love this emerald green pot, which would like great on the counter, and could be even be used for other kinds of storage.

To accompany your jars, a handy utensils pot won’t go amiss, this one from Garden Trading is made from raw marble and looks fantastic; a great option if you want a minimal look. Marvellous Marble

In recent years marble has become a leading theme in the world of interior design and home accessories. Before you may have thought about marble and imagined a large Bel-Air mansion covered head to toe in the stuff and maybe given a slightly involuntary grimace, with the word tacky scrolling across your mind. But marble has come back in style, taking an alternative pathway. It’s made its appearance in home accessories, from lighting to tableware to soft furnishings, a faux marble style or a print has become a playful way to take on the material and tone down the sense of grandeur, whilst still keeping a fresh and sophisticated look, turning something that was slightly old-fashioned and a little outdated into something current and contemporary. We love a Royal Wedding

The dress, the ring, the celebrity guest list. Oh, there’s SO much to discuss about the Royal Wedding – it’s a favourite topic in the Angel + Blume office.  When it comes to commemorative memorabilia though, it’s a jungle out there. So we’ve done the hard work for you and waded through a vast sea of products to bring you our top five Royal Wedding memorabilia. Enjoy.

First up is this commemorative cushion by Jan Constantine, queen of  patriotic design. We love this reworking of her classic union jack design. Top points also for the regal velvet and gold chair.

Everyone knows you can’t have a party without cake.  So next on our wish list are these smart cupcake toppers from Hunkydory Home.

These wooden union jack place holders from The Contemporary Home also made it onto our list. I’m not sure I would clip them onto a wine glass, but they would be great for marking place settings at your Royal Wedding dinner party or for displaying patriotic photos.

You can’t get more British than Emma Bridgewater so this commemorative tea towel had to make the list. Eagle-eyed Royal watchers will notice the reference to ‘Kate’ rather than the palace-recommended ‘Catherine’. Hmm, does this mean it will keep its value? Either way, it’s a cheerful design and we like.

And last but not least – you can’t have a street party without bunting. Our pick of the crop is this retro styled design from The Contemporary Home – the perfect way to dress up a patriotic picnic. Roll on  29th April.
